Heading into the 2016 school year, I am looking into new ways to collect my assessment and records in a paperless format.
For each area, Spelling, Reading, Mental Math, N/A, M/G, S/P, I am creating a Google Form. I have pulled apart the Curriculum for these learning areas and at this stage with teaching a split class my idea is that this will assist me in recording and continually reflecting on the assessment for both year levels. I can access the data in Google Sheets, which will assist me with multiple assessment pieces forming the basis for grading, as well as instant access to progression and comparison.
Below is a quick screenshot of how it will look for Guided Reading (Year 1). It also features the PP/Foundation Curriculum underneath, as I have a split class this year.
