Tonight I discussed using an AITSL e-folio on #TMWAreach. As mentioned, I have converted my original file to Keynote (Apple's version of PowerPoint), the original files are in a post below.

Over the last year, I have learnt so much about technology and if I could redo my AITSL file I would definitely consider using Keynote from the get go.
Fortunately, my PowerPoint slide was compatible with Keynote and transferred over. I have now added information on a more frequent basis, because I constantly carry around my iPad. It is easier to add evidence at each point in time. So for instance, if I have a great lesson that highlights a particular standard then I can add evidence that day at lunch or recess, as oppose to waiting until I get home to sit at my laptop (by which time I have forgotten about it).
I am loving the use of technology to enhance my professional portfolio and can't wait to see other ideas for how educators are using it too.

I am in my second year of teaching and have trialled a paper folder, AITSL app and have now moved toward constructing an e-folio to present my compilation of evidence to my principal. I want to share this with you, because it has saved me time on handling and sorting paperwork. Another reason I have elected for this method, is because I live in the Pilbara, WA and would like to store my evidence electronically for when I travel to Perth for conferences or school holidays (my initial file must have weighed a few kilos at least!).
Below, you'll find a video explaining how I have put it together. There are also some example documents which you can download. Plus, a reference sheet, that has some pointers and steps to run you through how to make one yourself.

I hope this helps you on your journey to becoming a proficient teacher too.
